I work in a sector of activity that need to display geographical data, and I had a few feature idea which would make corteza an even nicer tool to use.
- Add support for polyline format
Corteza already provide point and polygone render, this seems like the last missing render type.
This mean converting the block polygone checkbox to the following dropdown :
- multi render type :
- point cloud (the current disabled state)
- polyline (the new feature)
- polygone (the current enabled state)
For the shape label, I would suggest placing it at the middle of the polyline.
-
Change marker icon
Being able to change the marker shape with basic square, circle, triangle and star which are centered on the point coordinate. The center of thoses shapes could also be colored the same way as the default marker. -
Change line symbol
Being able to change the line symbol with a dashed line version. This feature doesn’t need a dedicated color selector. -
Change polygone fill color/opacity
This would need a dedicated color selector.
Given how flexible Corteza map block already is, all theses features would provide powerful a QGIS like/lite map rendering experience.
