For example, Airtable has this nice feature where people can view some information without logging into the platform.
Is it somehow possible to do something similar in Corteza where for example if we are able to show some list views and record pages in Read Only format without logging or even the whole system.
I understand even, if possible, it won’t be something that can be turned on with a click of a button. There must be some custom development involved, but wondering if someone has dived into this area before?
Public facing pages are in the roadmap. Currently the only way to present data outside of Corteza is to gather it and save it as a PDF/send an email.
Another way is to have a separate page and gather the data from the CortezaAPI/Integration gateway, and present it in that custom page (That is not part of Corteza).
Yes, this is where the roadmap can be found. However, it’s due a refresh soon, with items such as high availability, improved data management and further UX enhancements. And, of course, the inevitable question of where AI fits in Corteza’s future
It’s currently not there. However, it’s a public form builder you’re looking for @Lenny has delivered something which works really well. It’s basically gives you a public page feature by using the current Corteza feature set.
@nmccarthy this is great news. Looking forward to playing around with it. Is it a form builder type thing for now, or full fledge use of the anonymous role and being able access the whole front-end interface?
oh ok, it’d be nice to see to be able to just go to a corteza instance and browse whatever anonymous role has been giving permission with no login and provide a login option if users want to (with some sort of toggle switch in backend that enables/disables the requirement of login/login screen)
Yeah, I know what you mean. Access controll was already prepared for this but we need some front-end modifications to enable this.
We’ll keep this in mind when we’re reworking the UI @jfortun objections?
