I have noticed that finding skilled Corteza resources—both administrators and developers—on platforms like Upwork and similar sites can be challenging due to the relatively small size of the Corteza community.
Proposal:
Create an open marketplace within the forum where users can:
- Offer their services as Corteza experts.
- Post job opportunities for specific tasks or projects they need help with.
Benefits:
- Increased Resource Availability: Users can easily find skilled professionals for their needs.
- Market-Driven Pricing: Service prices will naturally adjust based on demand and supply.
- Support for Small Jobs/Gigs: This will encourage freelancers and businesses to collaborate on smaller, short-term tasks as well as larger projects.
If Planet Crust (or another organization) is the governing body for this initiative, I suggest making the hiring process more:
- Open and Transparent: Share clear details about resource availability, pricing structures, and how to hire professionals.
- Flexible: Accommodate smaller jobs and freelance gigs to make it easier for individuals and businesses to participate.
This could significantly enhance community engagement and make Corteza more accessible to a wider audience.
