I want Advice on Getting Started with Corteza Low Code for a New Project

Hey everyone,

I am new to Corteza and exploring its low code platform for a project I am working on. I have go through some of the documentation & played around with the basics but I am still figuring out how to structure things properly.

The project I am building is a simple data management system with some custom forms, reporting & user role management. I want to know the best practices for setting up a solid foundation from the start.

For those of you who have worked with Corteza before do you have any tips on how to avoid common pitfalls when building your first app?? Are there any must use modules or features I should take advantage of? ?

Also i have check this article and resorse ; https://forum.cortezaproject.org/t/new-low-code-project-does-not-show-configured-logo-on-portal-pagepower bi desktop

Thank you.

Hi @gabrielparker

Nice to meet you and thank you for trying Corteza! You might like to try Aire, the AI platform for building Corteza applications. It’s fun to use and will greatly accelerate the speed at which you can build.

As for Corteza itself, the general sequence to follow is:

  1. Build your data modules and data fields firstly
  2. Build your basic record pages (these are a UI representation of your data modules)
  3. Build your basic list pages (these are the UI respresentation of a list of searchable records)
  4. Build charts for data modules where you think it is appropriate to have charts
  5. Add other UI blocks (e.g. calendars, maps, progress bars, charts, workflow placehoders etc) to your record pages and list pages
  6. Build workflows

That’s a quick summary, of course. https://docs.cortezaproject.org has a tonne of useful information you can consult

I hope this helps!
